EuroContactPool supplies business data for Google maps

Under the agreement, EuroContactPool provides, and continually updates, data for Google maps from its pan-European business database.

This enables users of Google maps to ‘see’ businesses in the location where they’re looking and click on to them to get more detail.  Users are also able to search for specific businesses using company name or industry and find their location on Google maps.  

Google has partnered with EuroContactPool because its business database is the most accurate and comprehensive in Scandinavia.  EuroContactPool was one of several different vendors whose data was tested by Google before the contract was awarded.
